1050 years is a long time. It is a great testament to the faith of the Polish nation and people - and it continues to unite you, no matter where you are living, no matter what country or state. But we must always take into consideration the words of St. Paul - we must always be on guard against the temptations around us to turn away from the Lord. The desires of the flesh, as he calls them, the materialism, the greed, the desire for power and control, are all there. They are temptations posed often by the world, the culture of excess and the excessive freedom that surrounds us. The Holy Spirit challenges us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and to follow Him. For only He lead us to the Father in heaven and to His kingdom.

Saint Casimir, help us to remember that our true King is Jesus Christ and always serve him with joy and love. Help us to turn to our true Father for guidance and protection. Amen

As you browse on this website you will note that we are a bilingual parish, both Polish and English. We invite you to join us. Your presence is lovingly welcomed within our Catholic community.

We are stewards of Lord's Gospel. We are companions on a common journey to God. We strive to be like our Holy Mother Mary and to be messengers of God’s Word to the Thunder Bay area.
